Brianne is from the Town of Kingsville in Essex County. She is a busy self-employed artist and photographer and an active volunteer who for many years. She has always been involved in various projects and committee work.
Brianne enjoys teaching others to paint with classes both in person and virtually. She was elected to Community Living Essex County’s Board of Directors in 2021 and was re-elected in 2023. She prepares and presents monthly Board reports on the work of the self-advocate group New Day-Leaders of today. She joined New Day in 2017 and is their current President. Part of her role includes presenting at Community Living Essex County’s orientation for new employees. She focusses on the importance of support staff, respect, and the rights of people receiving supports.
Brianne enjoys her role as advocate and all opportunities to share information, create change and increase inclusion. Brianne believes in giving back, making a difference and inspiring others.
