Tributes and Recognition

Community Living Ontario values the many dedicated individuals and groups in our communities, including all people who have an intellectual disability. Every year, the organization recognizes the remarkable efforts and contributions of individuals and organizations that further the Community Living movement. We encourage members to nominate and recognize those contributions. Submission deadlines and nomination forms for 2023 will be updated soon.

Anne Stafford Light Up the Future Bursary

The Anne Stafford Light Up the Future Bursary is awarded to people who have an intellectual disability who are seeking to pursue a professional development opportunity through an educational program or personal interest course.

Jason Rae Leadership Award

A service-minded role model who did not let his disability get in the way of his passion for life, Jason Rae was a contributing member of the Trent Hills community, actively involved with Advocates for Community Education, a two-term president of Community Living Campbellford/Brighton’s Board of Directors, and a member of many boards and committees focused on inclusion.

The award is intended for a person who has shown exemplary dedication to inclusion and giving back to their community.
