Every year, the organization recognizes the remarkable efforts and contributions of individuals and organizations that further the Community Living movement. We encourage members to nominate and recognize those contributions.

The Anne Stafford Light Up the Future Bursary is awarded to people who have an intellectual disability who are seeking to pursue a professional development opportunity through an educational program or personal interest course.

Inspiring Possibilities Awards


We are thrilled to share that Community Living Ontario is currently accepting nominations for our 2025 Inspiring Possibilities Awards.

The four awards are:

  • The Changemaker Award
  • The Inclusive Media Award
  • The Jason Rae Award
  • The Noreene Adam Trailblazer in Accessibility Award 

These awards are an opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations making a positive impact on the lives of those with intellectual disabilities and their families in Ontario.

We encourage chosen recipients to accept their award in-person at our 2025 Inspiring Possibilities AGM and Conference, taking place September 16–18, 2025 in London, Ontario. However, you do not need to attend in order to be eligible to receive an award.

Nominations must be received before Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:59 pm EDT.
