From October 20–22, nine Council members (Nicole Flynn, Niko Pupella, Judy Noonan, Robert Smith, Stella Curtis, Dzidra Halar, Farrah Sattaur, Amber Taylor, and Jem Moeller) attended and participated in the 2023 Speaking Out “Expanding Possibilities” Conference at the UNIFOR Family Education Centre in Port Elgin. The Council made several new connections and learned from self-advocates, families, and support professionals.
