Peter Marresse

Peter resides in Toronto and is a self-advocate who is passionate about working and advocating for people who have intellectual disabilities and who is a member of the Council of Community Living Ontario currently in the position of Treasurer.


In the past, he has been part of the ODSP Coalition and Advisory Group; Central Region Council and was a member of the Government Relations Committee for Community Living Toronto as well as their Board of Directors. Also, Peter sits on the Etobicoke Region Council for Community Living Toronto and has been active with the Aging Population Committee with the DS Council.


Peter supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Community Living Ontario and feels that the organization provides an inclusive environment for all. He would take his role very seriously if elected and it would be an opportunity for Peter to expand on his skills that he has built over time while participating on committees and various boards.


Peter is an individual who brings advocacy and a strong passion for the sector and would represent families and self-advocates on the board in a positive way. He would continue his efforts to help provide a more inclusive community and to provide an environment where people have access to supports and live a good life in the community.
