6th Annual Together We’re Better Contest
The 6th Annual Together We’re Better Contest is open for submissions until Monday, January 28, 2019.
The contest is open to students in Ontario that are between 4 and 14 years old. Students are challenged to send individual stories or poems and classes are challenged to submit a video that show why it’s better when everyone learns together including students with an intellectual or developmental disability.
Winners can win some exciting prizes including resources for the classroom, a pizza party, a tablet (for individual entries) and more!
The winners will be announced on Friday, February 8, 2019.

Community Living Ontario is proud to announce the winners of its 5th annual Together, We’re Better contest.
Open to Ontario students aged four to 14, the contest, which ran until January 24th, 2018, challenged people and classes to explain why classrooms that include students who have an intellectual disability are better.
Classes were encouraged to submit videos of five minutes or less offering their explanations, while students were also able to send in individually-written responses of under 250 words.
